متن کاملThe Series on Banach Algebra
Let X be a non empty normed structure and let s1 be a sequence of X. The functor ( ∑ κ α=0(s1)(α))κ∈N yielding a sequence of X is defined as follows: (Def. 1) ( ∑ κ α=0(s1)(α))κ∈N(0) = s1(0) and for every natural number n holds ( ∑ κ α=0(s1)(α))κ∈N(n + 1) = ( ∑ κ α=0(s1)(α))κ∈N(n) + s1(n + 1). One can prove the following proposition (1) Let X be an add-associative right zeroed right complementa...
متن کاملComplementably Universal Banach Spaces, Ii
The two main results are: A. If a Banach space X is complementably universal for all subspaces of c0 which have the bounded approximation property, then X∗ is non separable (and hence X does not embed into c0), B. There is no separable Banach space X such that every compact operator (between Banach spaces) factors through X. Theorem B solves a problem that dates from the 1970s.
متن کاملSeries on Complex Banach Algebra
Let X be a non empty complex normed space structure and let s1 be a sequence of X. The functor ( ∑ κ α=0(s1)(α))κ∈N yielding a sequence of X is defined as follows: (Def. 1) ( ∑ κ α=0(s1)(α))κ∈N(0) = s1(0) and for every natural number n holds ( ∑ κ α=0(s1)(α))κ∈N(n + 1) = ( ∑ κ α=0(s1)(α))κ∈N(n) + s1(n + 1). One can prove the following proposition (1) Let X be an add-associative right zeroed rig...
متن کاملCharacterizations of Series in Banach Spaces
In this paper we prove several new characterizations of weakly unconditionally Cauchy series in Banach spaces and in the dual space of a normed space. For a given series ζ, we consider the spaces S(ζ), Sw(ζ) and S0(ζ) of bounded sequences of real numbers (ai)i such that the series P i aixi is convergent, weakly convergent or ∗-weakly convergent, respectively. By means of these spaces we charact...
